1953 & 1954 Girls Basketball State Finalist Teams

The Cowgirls had an amazing run in the 1953 & 1954 seasons compiling a record of 73-5. The Cowgirls were State Runners-Up in 1953 and fell in the State Semi-Finals in 1954. The Cowgirls were coached by the Superintendent, John Young. All-State team members were LaRue Matlock in '53 & '54 and Joyce King in 1953.
