The Bryson Junior High School Cowgirls swept the Graham Tournament Sept. 19. They faced Class 2A and 3A schools in the round-robin tourney: Bowie, Stephenville and Graham. The “B” team began strong with a win over the host Lady Blues in the first match. They followed that up with an exciting win over Stephenville. “Our girls showed a lot of heart in this match,” said Coach Trey Kramer. “Our girls did a great job of battling for every point.” Their third match of the day sealed the tourney title with a win over Bowie. “The Cowgirls cruised through that match to win the seventh-grade division of the tournament,” Kramer said.
