INTRODUCING THE NEW ATHLETIC DIRECTOR & HIS FAMILY

The Helms' family is excited to be a part of the Bryson ISD and community.
Coach Helms has been a Head Football Coach and Athletic Director for the last 12 years. He has successfully coached football, basketball and track over his 15 year career. He has taught all levels of English, Physical Education, and has served as an Elementary Principal. Coach Helms graduated from Texas Tech University in 1992 and then received a Masters of Education from Sul Ross State University in 2001.
Mrs. Helms has taught various elementary grades with great success during her 16 year teaching career. She has primarily taught 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. She enjoys this age group and looks forward to working with the 4th grade. Mrs. Helms completed her degree in Multi-Disciplinary Studies at Texas Tech University in 1993.
The Helms have two sons, Julian 13, and Jalen 10. Julian will join the 8th grade next year at Bryson and looks forward to competing in football, basketball, and track. Jalen will be joining the 5th grade class next year. Jalen is also very active in sports and Pee Wee/Little League occupy a lot of his time.
The Helms are grateful to have found a quality school in this area of Texas to make their home. They look forward to becoming active members of the community and will strive to become assets to the Bryson ISD.
