Our computer lab at Bryson ISD is a top of the line facility. It features 22 new Hewlett Packard (HP) Brio computers. It also has a HP LaserJet 4000 TN printer. If a student wants to use a computer for anything classroom related, he or she could go here and access just about anything he or she would need. Our computer lab is a big advantange for the students. All 22 computers are hooked up to the World Wide Web. Any student can access the internet, but there are some limitations to the sites the students are allowed to go to (BISD Acceptable Use Policy).
As an extra benefit, the school also has 20 Compaq Computers. This room is the classroom for all of the business courses.
What is really a good quality of having so many computers is that they are all "networked" together. For instance, a student can go to one computer and save something on his or her file and then can go to a different computer in another room and open it.
The school has spent a lot of money on the cost of the computer lab to give the students the best in modern technology.
